Inner Child Healing: A Free Workshop

Part 1: Understanding the Pattern, and Transcending It

Your childhood isn’t just something that happened and ended… A lot of it is still playing out in how you react, what you expect, and how you relate to people.

In this video we’ll look at what’s actually going on, and why certain patterns keep repeating.

We also look at time a little differently here…

Instead of seeing the past as something locked in place, you’ll start to see how it can be revisited and responded to. How time is fluid, and it’s never too late to heal the child inside.

What you do now and how you show up in those moments, has an effect both ways—in the past and the future.

Part 2: Guided Meditation

This is the core of it.

You’ll be guided into a relaxed state, then brought back to a specific moment from your childhood.
From there, you’ll step into it.

You’ll see what’s happening, approach your younger self, and respond in a way that wasn’t available at the time.

You’re not there to relive it…

You’re there to meet it differently.

Part 3: Write a Letter to Your Younger Self

Choose whatever age of yourself you’d like, and write them a letter.

Don’t overthink it.

Tell them:

  • What your life looks like now
  • Things they’d probably think are cool
  • What you’re still working through
  • What you’ve learned so far
  • And something you feel they needed to hear

Keep it real, and really imagine you’re speaking with them. This is as transformative as you let it be.

Part 4: Reconnecting with Child-like Joy

This second meditation is lighter.

Instead of going into something difficult, you’ll reconnect with the part of you that was open, curious, and just naturally more present.

That part doesn’t disappear. It just gets buried.

This is about accessing it again.

Part 5: Integration

This is where you actually carry it into your life…

Make a list of things you were drawn to as a kid:

  • Interests
  • Hobbies
  • Goals

Pick a few that are realistic for you to try, here and now.
Not someday—actually do them.

Maybe “going to the moon” isn’t going to happen this year, but there are plenty of things that could. You don’t have to complete them, either. You just have to start the journey.

Also, bring back small things you used to enjoy:

  • Movies
  • Music
  • Food
  • Actives (like art, etc)

For the next week, mix that into your life.

It might seem small, but it’s not.

When you do this, you’re reconnecting with parts of yourself that may have been pushed aside or alienated. And in doing that, you’re not just “healing your inner child.”

You’re changing how you relate to yourself right now, and gaining access to the wisdom that version of you has to share.

Closing

Come back to this whenever it feels useful.

A lot can shift quickly, but this isn’t a one-time fix. What matters is how you integrate it.

The meditations are a starting point. The real change comes from continuing to check in with that part of yourself and responding to what’s actually needed.

Over time, that becomes more natural.

And things start to settle.

Bonus

If you like the concept of working with time, try this 20-minute meditation that gives you access to your future self.

The more you develop the habit of connecting with them, the more resources and wisdom at your disposal.
